Dear Senpai,
We are excited to announce that the AI2U Mod (Beta) feature, powered by the Steam Workshop, is now officially live! Players can now create, share, subscribe to, and use their favorite custom mods, letting you replace the game's original humanoid models and create a personalized and exclusive in-game experience.
Access The Tool
Steam players must ensure the game is updated to the latest version (V.0.6.0.9 or newer). Once updated, click the 'Play' button on the game's page. Then, select the Waifu Swap Mod Tool option from the panel to launch the tool.
For Itch.io players, only the local mod version is currently available. The download links are located under the Purchase Section on the Ai2U’s Itch.io page. Names of the Downloadable Files are:
AI2U Waifu Swap Mod Tool - Windows Version
AI2U Waifu Swap Mod Tool - Mac Version
Important Notice
The Mod feature is currently in its Beta testing phase within AI2U. As such, users may occasionally encounter bugs or other unexpected issues. We will continue to optimize the feature, and your patience and cooperation to enable seamless waifu swaps for everyone.
If you experience any issues during use, please contact us via email at: support@alterstaff.io.
Please include the following:
A summary of the issue
A recording or screenshot showing the issue in action
A screenshot of your mod specifications
We also welcome you to share any suggestions or creative ideas related to modding in the #waifu-swap-mods channel on our Discord Server.
Remember: While you can change the NPC's appearance, their thrilling Yandere nature will always remain unchanged! Please ensure you strictly adhere to community guidelines when creating and using mods. We wish you all a fun time, and hope you enjoy the pleasure of creation and the overall experience!

Only the NPCs in our game are moddable. Do not attempt to modify other features in the game; we cannot guarantee a fix if you follow unofficial instructions.
Mods are "at your own risk" — we cannot support or guarantee compatibility with mods. Modding may impact performance or stability, so you may need to un/reinstall the game or start over if issues occur. We recommend backing up save files before using mods.
Before sharing your mods in any community or public channels, check the mod-posting guidelines to ensure yours complies.
If you did not create the custom model, ensure you have the necessary usage rights and credit the source accordingly.
Creating and using mods means you accept our modding guidelines and Terms of Service. We reserve the right to remove or restrict mods that violate them.
